Overview

Beginning in Cairo and moving down the Nile to Aswan and Luxor, you will travel between Egypt’s most famous sites while staying in 5-star accommodation and enjoying a Nile cruise. An Egyptologist guide will explain the history of each place as you take in the changing scenery of the Nile Valley. Along the way you will see the ancient pyramids and necropolis at Saqqara and Giza, then continue to major temples and archaeological sites in Luxor and beyond. Highlights include Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. On the Nile you will visit Kom Ombo and Edfu, and in Aswan you will see the Philae Temple and the ancient unfinished obelisk. The programme also includes the famous Abu Simbel Temples and the Abu Simple Temple, giving you a broad view of Egypt’s monumental heritage.
