Overview

On this 15-day journey to Egypt, you’ll begin in Cairo with visits to the Great Sphinx at Saqqara and the Egyptian Museum. As you move through the country you’ll reach Luxor to explore Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings, seeing ancient sites that span pharaonic history. The trip continues to Aswan, where you’ll visit the Temple of Philae, the High Dam and the unfinished obelisk. Along the way you’ll also go to Abu Simbel Temple and spend time in a Nubian village. You’ll tour the Nile Museum and Nubian museums, and enjoy a two-night stay on board a felucca on the Nile River. The experience finishes with a free day in Cairo before departure, giving you time to revisit the city or rest before you leave.
