2-Day Cairo Adventure from Luxor: Ancient & Cultural Wonders

Overview

You will fly from Luxor to Cairo and spend your first day among some of Egypt’s most famous sights. In Giza you will see the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure and the Sphinx. You will also visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, where Tutankhamun’s treasures are displayed. Along the way you will enjoy a scenic lunch at Khufu Restaurant and finish the day with an overnight stay in Cairo. After breakfast you will visit the Egyptian Museum, which features the Royal Mummies Hall. You will then explore Coptic Cairo’s historic quarter, including the Hanging Church and St. Sergius Church. Later you will have time to wander Khan El Khalili Bazaar for souvenirs and local tea. The experience concludes with a flight back to Luxor.
