Overview

On this private two-day tour of Luxor, you will explore some of Egypt’s most famous ancient sites with a dedicated Egyptologist. As you move through the ruins, the guide will explain the significance and history of each monument so you can understand their roles in ancient Egyptian life. You will visit the Valley of the Kings and a number of important temples, including the vast Karnak Temple, seeing architectural details and funerary sites along the way. You will also spend time at the Luxor Museum, where antiquities and treasures from ancient Egypt are displayed, including artefacts from King Tut’s tomb. The experience is personalised with your own private guide and vehicle, so you will have time to focus on the sites that interest you most. There may also be the possibility to enjoy a hot air balloon ride over the city, but this is not included in the tour.
