Overview

Over two days in Cairo, you will explore the city’s most important sites, beginning with the Great Pyramids of Giza. You’ll visit Saqqara, the oldest capital of Egypt, where you’ll have the chance to explore the tombs of kings and nobles. Along the way you will also proceed to the unique museum in Memphis to see its archaeological highlights. On the second day, you will navigate downtown Cairo and see its main attractions, including the museum of antiquities, the old citadel of Saladdin and Old Cairo. Across the two days you’ll also have the opportunity to discover Cairo by night, watch the pyramid show after dark and enjoy an evening on a dinner cruise on the Nile.
