Overview

On this private two-day trip in Cairo you will have door-to-door transport, lunch, admission fees and an Egyptologist guide to help you navigate the city. On the first day you will explore ancient Egypt around Giza and Saqqara, visiting the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and the nearby Valley Temple, then moving on to Saqqara where the Pyramid of Djoser features in your guide’s explanations. You will also float on a traditional felucca sailboat and inhale the Nile breezes as you travel on the water. On the second day you will head downtown to the Egyptian Museum, then explore Coptic Cairo, where you will see the Hanging Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Along the way you will walk through the lively Khan al-Khalili bazaar. Your Egyptologist guide will inform you about the Sphinx, the Pyramid of Djoser and other key monuments, so you’ll cover the principal sights of Cairo and Giza in two days.
