3 day SIWA oasis TOUR FROM CAIRO

Overview

You will travel to Siwa Oasis in Egypt’s Western Desert, with a visit to El Alamein on the way. The trip brings you into a very different landscape from the Nile Valley, where oasis life and desert scenery take centre stage. In Siwa you will visit the Fortress at Shali and bathe in Cleopatra’s Bath. You will see the Temple of the Oracle and explore natural and archaeological sites such as Gebel and Mawta, Gebel Al Dakrur and Fatnas Lake. The experience includes a 4x4 excursion into the great sand sea, giving you time in the dunes and desert vistas. Throughout the day a private tour guide will share information about Siwa’s history, sites and local culture so you learn more about the oasis as you move through each place.
