Overview

Your Visitors Egypt tour guide will meet you at the airport or your hotel, holding a Visitors Egypt sign. You will visit the Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx, and explore the nearby Valley Temple. As you move on to Sakkara, you will see the Step Pyramid of Zoser, home of Egypt’s oldest pyramid. The trip continues to ancient Memphis, where you will view the great statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis. You will start the next tour at the Egyptian Museum, which houses more than 250,000 pieces. After exploring the museum’s collections, you will visit the Citadel of Salah El Din and then the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, taking in the citadel’s views and the mosque’s architecture along the way. On the Alexandria day tour you will travel to Alexandria and begin at the Library of Alexandria, now the biggest library in the world. You will then visit the Roman Amphitheatre of Alexandria and see the display of the sunken monuments of Alexandria. The tour also includes a visit to the city’s largest mosque, the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, before you go to the gardens of Montaza.
