Overview

You will be met at Cairo airport and transferred by private air‑conditioned car to your hotel. In Cairo you will visit the Egyptian Museum, home to over 250,000 authentic artefacts including the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold and jewellery. You will see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerions and view the Sphinx. The Citadel is included, with the Mosque of Suleiman Pasha, the Alabaster Mosque, Joe's Walls and the Mohamed Ali Pasha Palace, and you will explore the lively Khan El Khalili bazaars. An optional dinner cruise (not included) may be available, with transport, dinner and traditional evening entertainment. You will fly to Luxor for full‑day visits to the West Bank and East Bank. On the West Bank you will explore the Valley of the Kings, Deir El Bahari and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and see the Colossi of Memnon. On the East Bank you will visit Luxor Temple and Karnak, walking the Avenue of Sphinxes and seeing the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 columns, the obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the Temple of Amon with its lotus and papyrus motifs, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake. Travelling towards Aswan, you will stop at Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples and visit Philae Temple before returning to Cairo. The package includes private guided tours, transfers and hotel breakfasts, with a complimentary lunch offering pyramid views.
