You will visit the Egyptian Museum, the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East, on a night tour available on Sundays and Thursdays with an Egyptologist guide. As you move through the galleries, the guide will provide context about the collection and the objects on display. Highlights include the exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen, where you will see his treasures, gold pieces and jewellery. Along the way, you will also note the museum building itself: its architect was chosen through an international competition in 1895, which was won by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon.
