Aswan to Luxor: Full-Day Private Tour Temples and Tombs

Overview

You will be picked up from your hotel in Aswan for a private tour to the necropolis on the West Bank of Luxor. From Aswan you'll start at the spectacular Valley of the Kings, where you'll descend into three royal tombs. Next you will visit the rock‑hewn mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El‑Bahari, noted for its impressive murals, and you’ll have time to wander around on your own. Along the way there’s a quick photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two immense statues that stand beside the ongoing excavation of the palace of Amenophis III. After lunch at a good local restaurant, you will cross to the East Bank to explore the vast Karnak Temple complex, where pharaohs such as Tutankhamun, Hatshepsut and Ramses II carried out sacred rituals. The site includes holy lakes, hypostyle halls, obelisks, pylons and many shrines, giving a clear sense of its ceremonial importance. You’ll also have a photo stop at Luxor Temple before returning to Aswan.
