Overview
You will be picked up from your hotel in Luxor and transferred to Aswan for a full-day tour. In Aswan you will visit the High Dam, built between 1960 and 1970 to protect Egypt from floods and to generate electricity. The dam’s scale and purpose will be introduced as part of your visit. You will also see the Unfinished Obelisk, known as the longest obelisk in Egypt, and continue to Philae Temple. At Philae you will learn about the ancient love story of Isis and Osiris as you explore the temple site. Lunch is included during your time in Aswan. After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.
