Overview
Visit Luxor to explore some of Egypt’s most famous archaeological sites on both the East and West Banks of the Nile. Your guide will collect you from your hotel and take you first to the Valley of the Kings, the lavish burial ground of the pharaohs, where you will see several royal tombs. Nearby you will view the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Memnon statues, important landmarks on the West Bank. After a lunch break, you will continue on the East Bank to Karnak, once the largest religious centre in ancient Egypt, and then to Luxor Temple.
