Overview

Egypt Fun Tours will meet you at Cairo airport on arrival and escort you to the Giza plateau to explore the Great Pyramids of Egypt. On site you’ll see the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the pyramids of Kephren and Mecarynous, and you’ll enter one of the small pyramids of the queens. You’ll also visit the Sphinx as part of the same visit. As you move into downtown Cairo, the tour will take you past Tahrir Square and through the Khedieval area where you’ll notice striking European-style architecture. In the old part of Cairo you’ll see the walls of the ancient city AlQahira and go inside one of the mosques to view medieval architecture up close. Along the way your private guide will take you to one of the city’s Egyptian restaurants so you can choose typical Egyptian food. The visit continues to the large bazaar of Khan Elkhalili. The tour finishes with a cup of Egyptian tea at El-fishawy coffee shop before you are transferred back to Cairo airport for your onward flight.
