Overview
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Cairo or Giza and joined by a guide with ten years' experience who will share insights from his study of Egyptian history and mythology. Along the way he may point out lesser-known stories and local secrets that bring the sites to life. After transfer you will visit the catacomb, then continue to the pillar of Pompy and the Citadel of King Quitbay. Lunch will be at a local restaurant, where you can choose Mediterranean seafood or a shawarma sandwich.
