You will leave Cairo’s bustle behind and travel into the desert to visit Saqqara and Memphis. Saqqara is home to the Pyramid of Djosser, one of the oldest stone structures in the world, and Memphis was the ancient capital of Egypt around 5,000 years ago. Along the way you will also visit two pyramids of King Sneferu, seeing different examples of early pyramid construction.
