Day Tour Luxor From Hurghada (special trip)

Overview

You will be picked up from your hotel in Hurghada and travel to Luxor by air‑conditioned vehicle. In Luxor you will visit Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship ever built. Construction began around 2000 BC during the Middle Kingdom and continued until about 300 BC. As you move through the temple complex you will see the Great Hypostyle Hall, a vast columned space that is regarded as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Along the way you will have lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor. Afterward you will cross to the West Bank of the Nile to view the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III, known as the Colossi of Memnon. You will also visit the Valley of the Kings, where about 62 tombs have been discovered. Those tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures intended for the pharaohs’ afterlife. During your visit you will enter three of the tombs to see their interiors and decoration.
