Overview

An expert tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza holding a name sign, and you will travel to Alexandria by private air‑conditioned car. Once there, you will explore several of the city’s highlights, beginning with the Catacomb of Kom El‑Shoqafa, a unique three‑level tomb where Roman and ancient Egyptian art blend in the same space. You will also see the Roman Theater, built from marble with a large area of mosaic flooring, and visit the modern Alexandria Library, known as the second biggest library in the world. You will visit Qaytbay Citadel and have time for a free walk along the Cornish. Lunch at a local restaurant is included; beverages are not. Please note that the Alexandria Library is closed on Friday and Saturday, so on those days you will only be able to photograph it from the outside. At the end of the day your guide will return you to your hotel.
