Overview
A Sun Pyramids tours representative will collect you from your hotel in Cairo for a day exploring some of El Fayoum’s lesser-known pyramid sites. You will begin at the Hawara Pyramid, about 145 km from Cairo; this pyramid was built by King Amenemhat III (Dynasty XII). Along the way you will be transferred to the nearby El Lahun Pyramid, roughly 7 km from Hawara, which was built by King Senusert II (XII Dynasty). After El Lahun, you will continue to the Maydoum Pyramids, about 40 km from El Lahun, to see another distinctive ancient monument in the region. After the visits, a late lunch will be served. You will then be taken back to your hotel in Cairo for the night.
