Day Tour Visit Pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara and Memphis

Overview

A Luna Travel Egypt representative will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Giza Plateau to begin a tour of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. As you move through the site, you will see the Great Sphinx and visit the adjacent Valley Temple, where priests mummified the body of King Chephren. You will also have a close-up look at the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren that stands beside the funerary complex. Along the way, the tour includes a visit to the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. Lunch is provided at a local restaurant and is based on a full meal for each person.
