Overview

You’ll explore Egypt’s most famous sites across Cairo, Aswan and Luxor. In Cairo you’ll begin with a visit to the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx, taking in those iconic monuments and the surrounding plateau. The trip covers major highlights in each city so you’ll experience the variety of Egypt’s ancient and riverside landscapes. In Luxor you’ll see the temples and their reliefs, and you may choose to take a hot air balloon ride there for an additional cost. The programme also includes a cruise down the Nile River, which will carry you between key stops and offer a different perspective on the countryside and river life. Aswan is included as part of the route, giving you time to explore that city’s setting on the Nile as you move through the country.
