Egyptian Museum and Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx Sightseeing tour
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
You will meet your tour guide and set out for the Giza Plateau, where the day begins at the Great Khufu’s (Cheops) pyramid — the oldest and the only one of the Seven Wonders to remain largely intact. As you move across the plateau you will see the other Giza pyramids, including Khafre’s pyramid (Khufu’s son), the second-largest at the site, and the Mecernes pyramid, the smallest. This visit is followed by a stop at the Sphinx, the huge sculpture combining a pharaoh’s head with a lion’s body. After exploring the pyramids and the Sphinx, you will continue to the Egyptian Museum, which houses more than 120,000 genuine antiquities spanning almost 5,000 years of Egypt’s history from the Old Kingdom through the Roman era. At the end of the tour you will visit Khan El Khalili, a major tourist Mamlouk-style market, where you will have enough time to browse and shop among the traditional bazaars.
