On this day tour of Cairo, you will visit three of the city’s most famous sites. The itinerary includes the Egyptian Museum, the Saladin Citadel of Cairo and the Khan el-Khalili market in the heart of Islamic Cairo. Along the way, you'll view iconic monuments and learn about Egypt’s rich past. At the Egyptian Museum you'll see major ancient treasures, including King Tutankhamun’s golden death mask and a collection that numbers more than 120,000 other antiquities. At the Saladin Citadel you’ll go to the hilltop complex and see the Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha. In Islamic Cairo you’ll enter Khan el-Khalili, a bustling market in the city centre where streets and stalls reflect centuries of trade and local life.
