Overview

You will travel from Cairo to St. Catherine, arriving in the afternoon. This gives you time to settle in and take in the highland surroundings before an early start the next day. You will wake before dawn to hike the mountain in darkness and reach the summit in time for sunrise. From the mountaintop you will see the sunrise spread across the landscape. After descending, you will visit St. Catherine Monastery and spend time at the site. Following breakfast you will return to Cairo.
