From Cairo - Overnight To St Catherine Monastery and Mount Sinai.

Overview

You will drive from Cairo to St. Catherine and arrive in the afternoon. After resting, you will wake early to begin a predawn hike up the mountain in darkness so you can reach the summit in time for sunrise. As light spreads across the landscape, you will experience views from the mountaintop and the quiet atmosphere of the early morning. After descending, you will visit one of Christianity’s oldest monasteries, built around the site of the Burning Bush, and see the place associated with that tradition. Along the way you will have time to take in the monastery’s surroundings and sense its historical significance. After breakfast you will travel back to Cairo.
