From Cairo Pyramids Camel Ride ATV Bike Shopping Dinner Cruise

Overview

On this experience you’ll travel to Giza and enter the Sahara Desert to see the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx. Around the pyramids you’ll begin a gentle camel ride, gliding across the sands with the ancient monuments as your backdrop. As you move through the dunes, you’ll take in sweeping desert views and have opportunities to photograph the pyramids and the Sphinx from classic angles, giving a sense of the landscape that has surrounded these monuments for millennia. You’ll then switch to an ATV quad bike for an energetic ride over the dunes, racing across golden sand with the pyramids visible in the distance. After the desert activities, your guide will lead you on a shopping tour to hidden artisan workshops, where you’ll watch craftsmen create papyrus paintings, carve alabaster and blend perfumes using traditional techniques. You’ll also have the chance to practise haggling while browsing locally made souvenirs.
