From Hurghada to Luxor highlights Valley of Kings by Bus

Overview

You will be collected early in the morning and transferred by air-conditioned coach to Luxor, where your guide will meet you. Start at the vast Temple of Karnak and take in its many chapels, temples and towering pylons as your guide explains their history. Then cross the Nile to the west bank to visit the Valley of the Kings. Here you’ll see 63 royal tombs dating back almost 4,000 years. The elaborate wall art inside the tombs offers a vivid glimpse of how Egypt’s rulers were portrayed and how they envisioned the afterlife. Next, visit the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, built as a monument to Egypt’s famous female pharaoh. After returning to the east bank, relax over a buffet lunch in a local restaurant. Along the way you’ll stop at an alabaster factory to learn about traditional stone carving and see examples of finished work. The coach will then take you back to your hotel.
