Full-Day tour to Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Memnon
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
You will visit the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank, the burial place of many pharaohs. The site reflects the grandeur of ancient Egyptian funerary architecture. As you move through the area, you will explore its historic setting and learn about the royal burials associated with the valley. The day continues at the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as El Dir El Bahari, which she built. Hatshepsut was the only pharaonic woman to rule ancient Egypt; she was the daughter of Thutmosis I and reigned for nearly 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (about 1490–1469 B.C.). You will also see the Colossi of Memnon, the remains of Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple, and learn how these landmarks relate to Egypt’s royal past.
