Overview

Luxor, the ancient capital of Egypt, will be the focus of this guided outing. An Egyptology guide will collect you from your hotel, the airport, the station or your Nile cruise and take you to the temples of Luxor and Karnak, where you will explore the remarkable monuments that line the city’s east bank. You will then cross the Nile to the West Bank by car for an included lunch with oriental flavours as part of the tour. After lunch, the visit continues to the Valley of the Kings to see the burial places of Egyptian kings. You will also visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, noted for its unique terraces and style, and stop at the two Colossi of Memnon. At the end of the day you will be returned to your hotel, airport or Nile cruise.
