This private tour is led by a licensed Egyptologist who will tailor the visit to your interests. You’ll explore the Pyramids and the Sphinx, learn about their history as you move around the site, and enjoy camel rides with time for photos. Along the way you’ll have a delicious lunch featuring Egypt’s national dish, koshary, and you’ll also experience a Bedouin-style meal in the desert, relaxing in a traditional tent with Bedouin tea and freshly grilled dishes prepared in the authentic way. The day also includes visits that let you engage with genuine Egyptian crafts. You’ll see handmade carpets, papyrus art, natural perfumes and oils, spices and more, with plenty of time to enjoy the culture and traditions at your own pace. Shopping is optional, so you can browse or buy only if you wish. You’ll leave with stories and memories of the sights and tastes of Egypt, and perhaps a special piece to take home.
