On this full-day guided tour in Cairo, you’ll explore some of ancient Egypt’s most iconic sites with a professional Egyptologist. You’ll be collected from your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle and taken to the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos. As you move through the site, you’ll admire the Great Sphinx and have free time to take photos. A complimentary camel ride through the desert is included, giving you a classic photo opportunity and a different perspective on the plateau. Lunch at a local restaurant is provided. Afterwards, you’ll visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, where your ticket includes access to displays that feature artefacts from the tomb of King Tutankhamun. The day finishes with free time to explore Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Cairo’s most famous marketplace, where you can soak up the atmosphere and shop.
