You’ll visit Egypt’s most famous highlights: the Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum and the Khan al-Khalili bazaar. At Giza you’ll see the ancient ruins that reflect the glory of the pharaohs, including the three main pyramids — the Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Cheops or Khufu), the Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren) and the Pyramid of Menkaure (Mykerinos). The Great Pyramid is the largest of the three and is noted as the oldest of the seven wonders of the ancient world and the only one to remain largely intact. You’ll also visit the Egyptian Museum, where you can see the golden treasures of King Tutankhamen. Along the way you’ll experience Cairo’s city life with time to explore the old local market in the Khan al-Khalili bazaar.
