Great Pyramids of Giza & the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization with Lunch
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
Your day begins at the Pyramids of Giza, where you'll see the pyramids of Mycerinus and Chefren alongside the Great Pyramid of Khufu. Built in the Fourth Dynasty (around 2690 BC), the Great Pyramid is the only survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You will have the opportunity to enter the interior of one of these legendary pyramids. As you move through the site, you'll also visit the Great Sphinx, carved from a single block of limestone and measuring 57 metres long and 20 metres high. You will then go to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Fustat, the first Egyptian capital after the Arab Islamic conquest — a location chosen for its place at the crossroads of Egyptian history. The museum displays a collection of 50,000 artefacts, presenting Egyptian civilisation from prehistoric times to the present day, and includes the gallery of royal mummies. After the museum visit you'll have lunch at a traditional restaurant, then head back to your hotel.
