Overview

You will be picked up from your hotel in Luxor for a visit to the West Bank of the Nile, starting with the Valley of the Kings. In the company of an Egyptologist guide who is knowledgeable in ancient Egyptian history, you will explore this famous necropolis and learn about its significance and the royal tombs carved into the valley. After spending time in the Valley of the Kings, the guide will take you to the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, where you will see the temple’s terraces and learn about the reign of one of Egypt’s few female pharaohs. Your visit will finish at the Great Colossi of Memnon, the monumental statues originally representing King Amenhotep III.
