Lite Tour Cairo - Pyramids and The Egyptian Museum
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
You will drive to the Giza Plateau to explore the Great Pyramids, the last remaining of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. You’ll see the largest pyramid, built for Khufu, an engineering marvel from the 3rd millennium BC in the Old Kingdom. Nearby stands Khafre’s pyramid, which often appears taller because it was built on higher ground, and the smaller pyramid of Menkaura, which is less than half the height of Khufu’s. In Khafre’s complex you’ll also encounter the Great Sphinx, a monumental statue representing Ra-Harakhte, the rising sun god, whose face is a portrait of Khafre. After exploring the three pyramids, you’ll visit the Egyptian Museum. Your guide will lead you through its displays, tracing the beginnings and development of ancient Egypt. The visit concludes with a viewing of the renowned Tutankhamun collection, highlighting some of the most famous treasures from pharaonic history.
