Overview

You will travel from Cairo to Luxor in classic style aboard a deluxe sleeper train on this private trip. On arrival, the experience will focus on the highlights of ancient Thebes, giving you time to explore some of Egypt’s most famous archaeological sites. Along the way you will visit the Valley of the Kings, where ancient pharaohs were buried, and the Temple of Hatshepsut, built to honour Egypt’s female pharaoh. You will see the towering Colossi of Memnon and walk through the vast Temple of Karnak, taking in its monumental columns and open courtyards. An optional visit to Luxor Temple is also offered, should you wish to include it. Throughout the trip you will move between tombs, temples and monumental statues, encountering the scale and history of these sites while travelling privately from one landmark to the next.
