Luxor Day Tour from Cairo by Flight

Overview

You will fly from Cairo to Luxor, where a Visitors Egypt Tours guide will meet you. In Luxor you will visit Karnak Temple, the largest temple ever built. As you move through the complex you will walk along the Avenue of the Sphinxes, enter the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, and see the obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmose III, as well as the temple of Amun. You will then explore the Valley of the Kings, the original burial site of the boy King Tutankhamun, where tombs were carved deep into the desert rock and richly decorated with objects intended for the pharaohs’ afterlife. After that you will visit Hatshepsut’s Temple at El Deir el-Bahari, an impressive monument dedicated to Egypt’s only female pharaoh. The experience ends with a flight back to Cairo and transfer to your hotel.
