Luxor One Day Tour From Hurghada

What's an incredible day. I had booked a private individualised tour direct with Marsa Alan tours, to go to Luxor with a pick up from Makadi bay. We had a whole mini bus, air-conditioned, for myself and my friend, and two drivers so that they could take turns driving as it's quite a long drive at 3 1/2 hours. They ensured that we had plenty of full rest stops for drinks and loos. The drivers were Hammad and Ahmed and we met our tour guide Khalil in Luxor. Fantastic day trip with a friendly, knowledgeable, and patient guide (Khalil). The private tour allowed us to move at our pace and see everything we were interested in. This included a quick cruise on the Nile which was well timed in the heat. The guide and the drivers paid attention to detail and even ensured we were drinking enough water! Khalil also ensured I had memorable photos and he knew all the right angles which was a nice touch. The suggested lunch spot was excellent. Nothing was “pushed” on us and we felt relaxed and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Twee dagen geboekt en geen seconde spijt gehad. Dag 1: naar Luxor met chauffeur Ismail en onze Nederlandstalige gids Ahmed. Niet alles liep helemaal volgens het draaiboek, maar voordat wij überhaupt goed en wel “oeps” konden zeggen, had het kantoor het al opgelost. Dat noem ik service! 👌 Ismail reed ons veilig overal naartoe (alsof hij de weg persoonlijk had uitgevonden) en Ahmed wist zóveel te vertellen dat we ons bijna Egyptoloog voelden aan het einde van de dag. I went to Luxor with my friends, i had a magnifecent experiance , every thing was going smothly so i want to thank evey one who join to make me had one of my best memories of my life fristly Mr. Wael who response me to explain every datiles for me before i booked the trip, i want to mention the driver nour who was very expert ! Also one of the best personaltes i ever meet Mr. Amed mostafa the tour guide was so spicial person, thanks for all who worked to make one of my favorite days .

We did the private tour. 5 persons all day our own 2 drivers, a private tour guide in Luxor and all day a tour leader (Abdo Ouf) who was friendly and helpfull. If you want to see the highlights from Luxor in one day and do a nice boat trip on the Nile to I can recommend this day tour!

I’d recommend the VIP trip. Our drivers (Tariq and Ahmed) were excellent and our guide (Khalil) expert and easy company.

We would recommend this tour and tour operator for anybody thinking of a day trip to Luxor from Hurghada. Communication and guidance prior to travel was great, all the team were professional, courteous, knowledgeable and punctual. As general word of warning, it’s worth pointing out that the drive to Luxor takes up to 4 hours and if anyone has traits of travel sickness, then you might want to think carefully before committing to this excursion, especially if travelling with young children.
