Luxor's East & West Bank Highlights Tour
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
This full-day tour of Luxor begins on the west bank of the Nile, the area ancient Egyptians regarded as the place of eternal life. You’ll visit the Valley of the Kings, home to the tombs of many famous pharaohs, and then move on to the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of ancient Egypt’s most prominent rulers. Along the way you’ll pass the Colossi of Memnon, two giant statues that once stood as guardians near the royal necropolis. After lunch, you’ll cross to the east side to explore the Karnak Complex, considered the largest temple complex in the world. As you move through these sites, you’ll see monumental architecture and iconic ancient monuments that illustrate why Luxor was a major centre of Egyptian royal and religious life.
