Overview
You will be picked up from the hotel in Cairo at 8:00 am by air-conditioned bus to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. Memphis is located about 18 km south of Cairo and was around 3000 BC. Founded by Menes. Visit the alabaster sphinx and the colossal statue of Ramses II. The necropolis Sakkara is one of the most important sub-Egyptian tombs besides Giza. The largest and most impressive tomb is that of Pharaoh Djoser of the 3rd dynasty of the Old Kingdom (circa 2650 BC) with the famous Step Pyramid. Next to the step pyramid, you will visit the Pyramid of Teti, the tombs of Mereruka and Kagemmi and the Imhotep Museum. On the way to Giza you will have lunch in a local restaurant. The further course takes you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Afterwards you will be taken back to your hotel by car.

We had an excellent day visiting the great pyramids at Giza, sukkarra and Memphis. Our Guide was Mario, he was knowledgable and a well informed Egyptologist. He accompanied us throughout the trip. He ensured that we had a good time. He and his company book tour Egypt ensured that the family had a fun day. The tour is a full day and lunch is provided. Food was authentic and buffet style.

Inizialmente ero molto titubante nel dover mandare dei soldi ad una agenzia in Egitto, in quando non hanno come metodo di pagamento PayPal, ma poi mi sono preso di coraggio e come pattuito ho inviato un acconto dei soldi previsti per l acquisto dei biglietti aerei. Esperienza bellissima, guida impeccabile e precisa, consigliatissima per chi vuole fare un esperienza simile.

Der Kraftfahrer verdient unseren großen Respekt. Der PKW war sehr bequem und gut gepflegt. Unser Guide konnte sehr gut deutsch und brachte ein hohes Wissen über die besuchen Orte mit. Er begleitete uns überall hin und sorgt für schnellen Eintritt bei den Pyramiden. Er beschütze unsere kleine Gruppe und ließ uns Freiraum für Entdeckungen. Kamelreiten wurde kurzerhand in das Programm aufgenommen und unser kleiner Ausflug in die Wüste war ein Erlebnis. Alle Orte konnte er uns zeigen und gut erklären. Wir haben viel über Land und Leute und die Lebensweisen hier im Land gelernt. Danke.
Tour super consigliato ! Organizzato in modo perfetto . L’autista è arrivato in hotel puntualissimo insieme alla guida. La guida Mohamed ( Cobra) veramente fantastica, preparata , parlava italiano benissimo . Molto attento e gentile ci ha spiegato tantissime cose . Abbiamo visitato saqqara , Menfi e Giza e abbiamo visto tutto con calma e con ottime spiegazioni ! Veramente il top . Anche il pranzo è stato buono. Veramente contentissimi
