Overview

This experience includes two nights' hotel accommodation in Cairo on a bed and breakfast basis, together with two day tours around the city's main sights. One day tour will take you to the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx, and will also include visits to Memphis and Sakkra, where you can see ancient monuments and learn about Egypt’s early civilisation as you move between the sites. The other day tour will bring you to the Egyptian Museum and to Old Cairo. At the museum you will see a wide collection of artefacts from ancient Egypt, and in Old Cairo you will explore historic neighbourhoods and religious sites that reflect the city's layered past. Along the way you will have time to take in key landmarks and learn about their historical context.
