Overview
This private three-day tour in Cairo will guide you through both Islamic and Coptic Cairo, take you out on the Nile in a traditional felucca and include a visit to the Cairo Tower. Along the way, you will explore the different layers of the city’s history and see how its ancient and more recent landmarks sit side by side. You will spend time in the neighbourhoods commonly referred to as Islamic and Coptic Cairo, where you can learn about their historical significance and cultural heritage. A sail on a traditional felucca will let you experience the Nile from the water. The programme also includes a stop at the Cairo Tower. In the evening you will see the sound and light show at the Giza Pyramids; please note the show is available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
