Overview
This experience takes you through Alexandria’s historic heart and coastal highlights. You will enjoy a walking tour in the old city-centre and see the Roman amphitheatre, the city’s ancient churches and mosques, including St Mark — described here as the oldest church — as well as Abbo Elabbas Mosque and El Nabi Daniel Mosque. Along the way, you will learn about the layers of history visible in the streets and architecture. You will also visit the Library of Alexandria and its free museums, and go to the site of the Lighthouse, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
