From Hurghada, you'll be picked up at the entrance of your hotel and taken to two of Egypt’s most important ancient sites: Abydos and Dendera. In Abydos you’ll explore the Temple of Seti I, noted for its well‑preserved, still partly coloured reliefs. Nearby, you can view the famous Abydos Kings List, which traces rulers from Menes, the first pharaoh of a united Egypt, through to Ramses I. Close to Seti I’s temple you’ll also see a temple built by his son Ramses II, where detailed reliefs depict the battles of this powerful pharaoh. After lunch you’ll continue to Dendera, an impressive Ptolemaic temple complex dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Dendera is one of the best‑preserved sanctuaries in Egypt, with striking architectural and decorative features to see as you move through the site. At the end of the day you’ll be taken back to your hotel in Hurghada.
