Overview

If you have only one day in Luxor, this experience will take you across the Nile to see the city's main ancient sites. You’ll begin on the west bank, where you will visit the Valley of the Kings and explore the royal tombs, then continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Temple of Habu. Along the way you’ll see the Colossi of Memnon, and a lunch break is included during the west bank portion of the day. After lunch you will cross to the east bank to visit the great temple complexes of Karnak and Luxor. As you move through these sites, you’ll encounter the monumental architecture and avenues of columns that define Luxor’s religious heart. At the end of the tour you will be driven back to your onward transport — either the train station, the airport or the bus station.
