Overview

From the moment the tour starts your guide will give you full attention. Once in the car, they will talk about the places you pass and other aspects of the tour that may interest you. You will visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, then move on to the Great Sphinx, which dates back to the time of Chephren. Along the way you will see the Valley Temple of the pyramids and pause at a number of outstanding photo stops. In Sakkara you will explore the Step Pyramid of Zoser, home to Egypt’s oldest pyramid and built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser. Then you will continue to Memphis, the ancient capital, where you will see the great Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis. A lunch in a local restaurant is included, and the tour will finish with a comfortable transfer back to your hotel in Cairo.
