Spend a day exploring Ancient Egypt in Cairo with a private Egyptologist who will lead you to the city’s most famous sights. You’ll see the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, and have the chance to ride a camel across the desert. A restaurant lunch is included so you can relax and refuel before the afternoon. After lunch you’ll visit the Egyptian Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of Egyptian antiquities, where your guide will explain highlights as you move through the displays. The day ends at Khan El-Khalili, the oldest and largest bazaar in Egypt and the Middle East. Traders have sold their wares there since the 14th century, and your guide can help you find anything you want to buy. Even if you don’t shop, Khan El-Khalili is a lively place to stroll or sit with a coffee and watch local life unfold.
