Overview

Your Egypt Royal Tours guide will be waiting for you, holding a sign with the company name, so you won't need to look for them. You will travel from your hotel in Cairo to the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Along the way and at the site you will enjoy panoramic views of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, stop for many outstanding photos, and visit the Great Sphinx. As you move through the plateau you'll also see the Valley Temple, a site that served for the purification and mummification processes of the king before burial. You will then visit the Egyptian Museum, which holds more than 250,000 pieces and displays a rare collection of Egyptian art spanning over 5,000 years. The tour includes the Tutankhamen room, where the treasures, jewellery and gold that were enclosed in his tomb are on display; the tomb was discovered in 1920 when it was excavated. After the museum visit you will travel back to your hotel in comfort.
