Pyramids, Museum & Alexandria Private Guided Tour Package (2days)
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
Across two days you will travel from the Giza plateau to the Mediterranean coast, guided by an Egyptologist who will explain the history and sights as you move through each site. At Giza you will see the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus and pause at the Sphinx. You may choose to enjoy an optional camel ride around these iconic structures. Afterwards you'll visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), which includes a gallery for the Royal Mummies and displays a collection of around 50,000 artefacts presenting Egyptian civilisation from prehistoric times to the present day. On the second day you'll go to Alexandria, Egypt’s second-largest city, founded by Alexander the Great in 334 B.C. and a capital during the Greco-Roman period until the Arab conquest in 642 A.D. In the city you will explore the catacomb of Alexandria, see Pompey's Pillar and the Serapeum, and visit the Citadel of Qaitbay and the Alexandria Library. Along the way your guide will provide historical context to help you understand the significance of each landmark.
