Pyramids of Giza Egyptian Museum Khan El Khalili Bazaar Day tour
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
This experience takes you to the famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus on the Giza plateau. As you move through the site, you'll see the Great Sphinx, which dates from the time of Chephren, and visit the Valley Temple that belongs to Chephren’s pyramid, learning about their place in the ancient landscape. You will also visit the Egyptian Museum, which displays artefacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum presents a rare collection covering some 5,000 years of art and is considered the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. More than 250,000 genuine artefacts are shown, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen’s treasures — the gold and jewellery that remained in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s. Along the way, you'll have a chance to see Khan el Khalili, described here as the oldest and biggest market (bazaar). This visit will give you a broad view of Egypt’s ancient monuments, its major museum collections and a glimpse of local market life.
